FROM NEWFOUNDLAND TO ONTARIO

Just shy of 50 years ago, Gerald and Pearl opened a "fish store" in Toronto. Their son, Lorne joined the business several years later and it became known as L&G Seafood. In 1994, Seaport Merchants was born to serve customers in the original retail store on Victoria Park Ave. as well as a host of Wholesale clients. 

Since then, the business has expanded it's offerings to include a variety of fish and seafood from around the world, as well as specialty, "down home" and small batch teas, marinades, jams, crackers, salts and other cooking products.
